For Men

As men age, it is important to screen for any issues and prevent things from getting overlooked. The prostate changes over time, as well as urinary and sexual function. Starting around age 40, you should visit a urologist and make sure you continue with yearly checkups and screenings to keep you healthy.

Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH)

The most common urologic condition among men is a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Jupiter Medical Center offers several innovative treatment options for BPH.

Prostate Artery Embolization

Prostatic artery embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive treatment that helps improve lower urinary tract symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

The PAE procedure is performed by an interventional radiologist (IR), a doctor who uses X-rays and other advanced imaging to see inside the body and treat conditions without surgery.

Aquablation Therapy Surgical Treatment for BPH (enlarged prostate)

Aquablation therapy is a new type of surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Jupiter Medical Center is among the first in the area to offer this advanced, minimally invasive treatment.

We are excited to offer Aquablation therapy at Jupiter Medical Center because we believe in helping men suffering from BPH get their life back and feel like themselves again.

We know choosing a treatment option can be overwhelming, as it often forces men to compromise in some way. This could mean not responding well to medication, or choosing a treatment that only provides limited relief, that may have a long recovery time, or that may even cause issues with sexual function.

Aquablation therapy is a one-of-a-kind procedure that aims to minimize this compromise.

Pelvic Health Rehabilitation

Millions of people in the United States suffer from pelvic floor disorders.

About half of those affected by this disorder feel so isolated and stigmatized that they never discuss the problem with a health care professional. This is unfortunate because in the majority of cases the problem can be relieved.

Jupiter Medical Center offers a comprehensive pelvic health rehabilitation program. Our pelvic health physical therapists have advanced training and experience in assessing and treating specialized conditions including pelvic pain, incontinence, pain and dysfunction in pregnancy, and others.
