Traci Simonsen, CFRE, LCSW, is the Chief Philanthropy Officer of Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, the philanthropic organization that supports the area’s only independent, not-for-profit hospital, Jupiter Medical Center.
Simonsen joined the Foundation in June 2022 as Associate Vice President of Philanthropy and was quickly promoted to the lead philanthropic role. Simonsen has more than 20 years of fundraising experience, including over 10 years of executive leadership, where she has proven to be successful in strategic planning, working in partnership with executive teams, engaging boards, and cultivating donor and community relationships. Since joining the Foundation, she has worked diligently to expand philanthropic avenues to increase financial support for Jupiter Medical Center. The hospital is currently undergoing the most transformational period in its history as it expands the depth and breadth of its services, increases its geographic footprint, and assembles new alliances.
Before joining Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, Simonsen was the Executive Director of Major and Planned Gifts for Norton Healthcare and Children’s Hospital Foundations, in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to moving into medical fundraising, Simonsen worked in philanthropy at the Kentucky Center for the Arts and the University of Louisville.
Simonsen has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
