About K. Adam
Dr. Lee is medical director of the Thoracic Surgery and Lung Center of Excellence at Jupiter Medical Center. He leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the chest and lungs.
A pioneer and leading practitioner of thoracic surgery using minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Lee and his team were the first in the nation to perform a da Vinci robotic four-arm lobectomy for lung cancer nearly two decades ago. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College, completed his General Surgery residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NY, and Cardiothoracic Surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts. Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery and General Surgery. Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Lee has lectured and trained internationally other surgeons in robotic thoracic surgery, as well as lectures on electromagnetic navigational, and robotic bronchoscopy.
