Michael Marsh, MD

About Michael

Dr. Marsh is a fellowship-trained pulmonologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the chest and lungs. He is an expert in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Conditions treated include:

  • Lung cancer
  • Pulmonary nodules
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Pulmonary nodules
  • Pleural diseases
  • Management of bronchopleural fistulas

At the forefront of innovation in advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, Dr. Marsh utilizes minimally invasive robotic bronchoscopy technology.

This breakthrough technique allows physicians to see and biopsy parts of the lung that were previously inaccessible. It offers better precision and control while biopsying nodules in or near the airway, and it has been proven to decrease the time from diagnosis to treatment, as well as significantly reduce the risk of complications associated with legacy methods of biopsy.

Another innovation in care used at Jupiter Medical Center is endoscopic lung volume reduction with endobronchial valves. This procedure is used to treat people experiencing problems related to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Only a few centers nationwide offer this treatment.
