U.S. News & World Report Names Jupiter Medical Center a Best Regional Hospital for 2024-2025

JUPITER, Fla. – July 18, 2024 – U.S. News & World Report, the trusted source in hospital rankings and consumer advice, has named Jupiter Medical Center a top hospital in Florida as a result of earning “High Performing Hospital” designations in nine disciplines, including Stroke, Heart Failure, Colon Cancer Surgery, Lung Cancer Surgery, Hip Replacement, Leukemia Lymphoma & Myeloma, COPD, Diabetes, and Pneumonia.

Jupiter Medical Center is in an elite group, achieving a “Best Regional Hospital” ranking out of the nearly 5,000 U.S. hospitals evaluated, including 258 hospitals in Florida. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, nursing care, and patient experience.

The annually released Procedures & Conditions ratings are thoughtfully constructed to guide patients and healthcare practitioners in making informed decisions regarding health care options for complex health conditions or discretionary medical procedures.

“To once again be recognized by U.S. News & World Report is a tremendous achievement for Jupiter Medical Center and our team of medical experts,” says Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “We are proud to be recognized for numerous disciplines. This recognition reflects the unwavering commitment of our caregivers to deliver world-class care.”

“For 35 years, U.S. News has been a leading resource for patients navigating their health care decisions,” said Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News. “A 'Best Hospital' recognition empowers patients to seek out medical care from the best of the best to treat their illness or condition.”

Earlier this year Jupiter Medical Center opened the doors to the new Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute. The 90,000-square-foot space features 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms and two hybrid rooms, leading-edge technology, and enhanced features for patients, their families, and the care team. Additionally, Jupiter Medical Center recently broke ground on the highly anticipated patient care tower and parking pavilion, which will expand capacity, adding 92 patient rooms, and 800 parking spaces, respectively.
