Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s (Neurocognitive Disorders) can be rewarding, but also very challenging. At Jupiter Medical Center, we want to make sure that caregivers have the resources and support necessary to feel confident about caring for their loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease or any other Neurocognitive Disorders.
The Johnny and Terry Gray Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Support Program is committed to improving the experience of patients and families living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias by changing the way our healthcare system understands and treats these individuals. A resource for patients, families, and clinicians, The Johnny and Terry Gray Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Support Program provides comprehensive education, clinical co-management services, and emotional and social support to all navigating the complex journey of dementia.

Practical Skills | |||
Teach practical skills to approach the challenges of memory disorders in an evidence-based effective way. Emotional Support Offer emotional support for common reactions that include feelings of loss, anxiety, guilt, isolation, and overwhelm. Community Resources Identify essential community resources and assist with choosing the best care options for your family. Building Community Offer connections to other family members, friends and caregivers who are having similar experiences to decrease feelings of isolation, learn from and support each other. |
